Jobless claims: labor market is still unstable.
Initial jobless claims in the United States fell less than expected, while continuing claims surprisingly rose. As a result, the labor market is still considered to be unstable.
In the week before 6 March initial Jobless claims contracted by 6.000 to 462.000, while 4-week average became higher by 5.000 to 475.500. As for continuing claims, in the week before February 27 they added 37.000 and became equal to 4.558.000, while the market projected a drop to 4.500.000.
